Wanda

Wanda was born in Greenville, SC.  She attended Furman University and graduated with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.  Prior to joining Michael at the studio she was Director at Haynsworth Private School for sixteen years.  She has a son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Brandie Ballenger who live in Charleston, SC.  Wanda also volunteers for the American Red Cross and the Greenville Literacy Association.

Wanda’s jewelry skills began stringing cereal on yarn for Arts & Crafts, but she has come a long way.  She has completed the Pearl Certificate from Gemological Institute of America and has worked along side Michael to learn skills in pearl stringing and design.  Wanda works with natural gemstones and freshwater and Akoya cultured pearls.  One specialty that she has developed is helping you come up with the perfect piece of jewelry to match that special outfit.
